Technology and Adult Learning: Digital Literacy for All
The articles in this edition describe current trends, practices, and innovations to enhance educators’ work, many of whom, like me, effectively used “older” technologies. Similarly, our students face a technology-driven world and workplaces requiring an understanding and application of various technologies. Over the past decade, digitally mediated tools and applications have seen greater integration into programs. For many, the onset of COVID-19 and subsequent site closures accelerated the need for students and educators to master new technologies. In this COABE Journal, you will read about efforts to equip instructors and adult learners with the needed skills to function highly in our technology-driven society.
