Learning Differences


The Learning Differences edition features contributions from practitioners and researchers to explore the differences among our learners and how considering these differences can help maximize learning through awareness and addressing obstacles to success. The articles in this issue will likely challenge some of your perspectives and practices while reaffirming others as you read about the myriad of differences our learners bring to the classroom. Because most of the articles relate first-hand experiences addressing instructional obstacles, you will hear from trusted peers and share in their journeys of discovery. Many of the solutions involve technology integration, but others emphasize an expanded awareness of your students and connecting with them individually both in-person and online.
